with respect to DUIs, all 50 states of our beautiful country prohibit someone driving with a blood alcohol content above .08 or above.
however, not every state treats the consequences and penalities for such a violation the same.
if you blow over the legal limit, you will be taken to jail, fined and may even have your liscense revoked for a set of time.
in our state, just for the 1st conviction, you will be put in jail for a minimum of 24 hours. your fine will range from 865$ to a max of 5,000$ and your liscense may be suspended for 90 days
